See the heat.
Find the fault.
ThermoIris flies solar farms with a dual-sensor drone, aligns every infrared frame to a centimetre-accurate RGB map, and tells you which module is failing — by row, by string, by coordinate.

onto the RGB mosaic
A failing module looks exactly like a healthy one.
Cracked cells, bypass-diode failures and soiling all show up as heat long before they show up in yield reports. To the eye, and to a standard camera, the panel looks fine.
Walking a site with a handheld imager is slow, and loose thermal snapshots are hard to trace back to a physical module. Faults get found late, or not at all.
Four steps, from flight to fault list.
-
A
Fly
A planned nadir grid with a dual RGB + thermal drone. RTK positioning tags every frame to about 2 cm.
-
B
Stitch
Frames are lens-corrected and stitched into a single RGB orthomosaic, GPS-seeded and refined by feature matching.
-
C
Overlay
Infrared frames are undistorted and placed with the same per-frame transforms, so heat lands on the right module.
-
D
Report
Anomalies are measured, classified and listed by row and string, each linked to its location and source frames.
What you receive after every flight.
- RGB orthomosaic
- A seamless, georeferenced map of the whole site at high resolution.
- Thermal overlay
- Infrared data aligned to the mosaic, viewable as a layer you can toggle and compare.
- Anomaly register
- Every hotspot with temperature delta, severity, row, string and coordinates. Export to CSV.
- Flight record
- Flight path, waypoints and the original RGB / IR frame pair behind each finding.
One viewer for the whole inspection.
Results live in the ThermoIris web platform. Your O&M team opens the site, follows the flight path, zooms into the mosaic and jumps straight to the frames behind each fault.
